Abstract:
Estradiol dipropionate exerts an inhibitory acton on the development of Trypanosoma equiperdum in rats and mice. thereby prolonging the survival time of the infected animals. It is suggested that the hormone influences the development of the parasites through its action on some important constituents of the blood such as lipids, proteins and calcium.
