dc.description.abstract Gene silencing by RNA interference has rapidly growing area of therapeutic for managing diseases. Besides research advances in this direction, the poor cellular uptake of synthetic small interfering RNAs is a major impediment for their clinical applications. Polymer and lipid-based systems are attractive carrier systems for delivery of siRNA and provides option of desirable engineering of carrier particles. In this review, a detailed discussion is done about RNAi delivery systems and recent advances in the field. en
