An Improved Method for the Synthesis of p-Alkylamino-p'-aminodiphenyl Sulphides, Sulphoxides & Sulphones

Abstract

Syntheses of p-alkylamino-p'-aminodiphenyl sulphides and sulphones, involving reductive alkylation with aldehydes and ketones or Raney nickel catalysed N-alkylation with alcohols of the appropriate amino compounds, are reported.
