dc.description.abstract	The cytochrome oxidase activity of liver, heart and bone-marrow of normal rabbits and of rabbits in which lead acetate anaemia has been induced, has been investigated.The activity of the enzyme in bone-marrow is markedly Increased in anaemic rabbits whereas that of the heart tissue is only slightiy stimulated; no change is observed in the enzyme activity of the liver.	en
