| dc.description.abstract | The synthesis and pharmacological evaluation of certain 5-substituted amino-6,7,S,9-tetrahydro- 5H- benzocycloheptenes, 1-(6,7 ,S,9-tetrahydro-5H -benzocycloheptenyl) hydrazines, 5- (r -diethylamino) propyl-6, 7,S,9- tetrahydro-5H -benzocycloheptene and 5-(2-piperidylmethyl) - 6,7 ,S,9-tetrahydro- 5H-benzocycloheptene have been carried out. 5-Amino-6,7,S,9-tetrahydro-5H- benzocycloheptene shows a strong antipyretic effect and a weak anti-inflammatory action, while 5-hydroxy- 5-(2-pyridylmethyl)- 6,7,S,9- tetrahydro- 5H - benzocycloheptene shows anti -amphetamine action. | en |
