Limitations of the Ferric Chloride Method for the Assay of Vitamin B6

Abstract

The applicability of ferric chloride method for the assay of vitamin B6 has been investlgated in the presence of other B-vitamins, amino acids, carbohydrates and Inorganic salts, and it has been shown that the test is non-specific and insensitive.
